Question 1

Is My Golf free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create a free EZLife account and you can start logging rounds, joining events, tracking your stats and connecting with friends straight away.

Question 2

Do I need to download an app?

Accepted Answer

No. My Golf runs in your phone or computer browser. On your phone, add ezlife.online to your home screen (iPhone: Share, then Add to Home Screen; Android: the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app) and it opens in one tap, like an app.

Question 3

Can I score a round live on the course?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tap Record Live Round, pick your course, start on hole 1 or 10 and enter each hole as you play: score, putts, fairway, green (and where you missed it), bunker and penalties. Tap any hole on the full card to go back to it. You can pause and resume at any time, and your full card is saved when you finish.

Question 4

Can I log a 9-hole round?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose 9 holes when you add a round or start a live round, and pick the front or back nine. At a 9-hole course the holes are set to 9 for you. Every 9-hole round counts as a visit for your course medals and is kept separate from your 18-hole scores.

Question 5

Can I play with my friends or golf society?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create an event, choose the format and rounds, and share the join code or invite one of your Golf Social groups. Players join in the lobby, everyone enters their own scores and the live leaderboard updates as you play. Stableford, stroke play, match play and team formats are supported. The live commentary follows the story of the round (lead changes, birdie runs, the turn and the run-in) in English (British, Australian, American, Scottish or Irish), Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, German or Swedish.

Question 6

What is My Golf Social?

Accepted Answer

My Golf Social is the friends side of My Golf. Create a golfer profile, add friends or follow golfers you know, and share the rounds you choose. Friends can react, comment and reply on each other's rounds, and notifications tell you when something new comes in.

Question 7

Can I compare my scores with friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick a course you play to see how your scores compare with your friends', check your head-to-head record against a playing partner and view course leaderboards. Only golfers who choose to share their scores are included.

Question 8

Can I create a private group for my regular golf group?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create a group, tick the friends you want to invite (you can cancel an invite if you pick the wrong person) or share a join code, and get a group feed and leaderboards built from the rounds members choose to share with the group.

Question 9

Can I rate and review golf courses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After you log a round, My Golf asks how the course was. Give it stars, answer a few quick questions such as course length and green speed, tap any tags that fit such as good for beginners or greens excellent, and add what you paid if you like. Only golfers who logged a round at a course can review it, and ratings appear on the Course List once three golfers have reviewed a course.

Question 10

Can my golf society post results and an Order of Merit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Societies listed on EZLife can run scoring for a golf day in My Golf. When the organiser locks the round, the results and the society's Order of Merit can appear on the society's EZLife page, and players can choose to show their initials instead of their name.

Question 11

What are challenges?

Accepted Answer

Friendly competitions with your mates over dates you choose: best gross round, best Stableford round, most rounds played or most improved. Every round you log in the dates counts automatically, the leaderboard updates as you play, and the winner gets a trophy on their profile. You can invite friends while you set it up. Gross and Stableford only, no handicap versions.

Question 12

Can I have a public golfer page?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want one. Switch on Public profile page in Golf Social and you get a page like ezlife.online/golfer/your-name to share on WhatsApp or Facebook. You choose what is on it: photo, home course, stats, badges, course medals, trophies and rounds you shared as Public. It is off unless you switch it on.

Question 13

What badges and medals can I earn?

Accepted Answer

Course medals at every course you play (First Swing, Regular, Course Local and Course Master), monthly, streak, Stableford, competition and Course Critic badges, and destination badges: Pattaya Explorer for playing the Pattaya-area courses, Golf Traveller for playing in 2, 3 or 5 destinations, Island Golfer for a round on Koh Samui or Phuket, and a Complete badge for playing every course in a destination such as Krabi or Koh Samui. They all build automatically from the rounds you log, and update if you delete a round or change its course.

Question 14

What stats does it track?

Accepted Answer

Scores, score to par, Stableford points, putts, fairways (and which side you miss), greens in regulation (and where you miss them), bunkers and penalties. EZGolf Coach turns these into trends, scoring by par, scrambling, sand saves, three-putts, your miss patterns, your toughest holes and a focus for your next round. Your game plan then picks out the 3 things costing you most shots, with one thing to do about each and your progress round by round.

Question 15

Who can see my rounds?

Accepted Answer

Only you, unless you choose to share. Your existing rounds stay private. When you share a round you choose who can see it: your friends, any EZLife golfer or only you, and you can change your privacy settings at any time. Scores you enter in an event are shared with the players in that event so the leaderboard works. If you play a scored society golf day, your result may also appear on that society's EZLife page.
